The Devine Guide to...choosing the right size art print.
Not sure what size print you need to make a room look amazing? We’ve got you covered.
Our prints are all about easy, quality decorating. They fit in standard, store bought frames from major retailers or online. We list the sizes in centimetres in each listing so you can measure them out if you want to…or you could spend time cutting up newspaper in the size and blue-tacking it to the wall BUT…our guide is much easier.
At a glance, you’ll get a good indication for different size prints on different walls of your home. Whilst the sizes of prints on walls are indicative only (we don’t know the exact size of your walls of course) we know that these print sizes will look amazing because we’ve tested them on our own walls at home and because they are the most popular combinations/locations as determined by our lovely customers over the last two years.
We hope you find some wonderful inspiration.

Lobbies, Entries and Hallways…
It is so important to welcome guests into your home with warm, inviting, joyful art. It sets the tone for their stay and immediately suggests (because first impressions really do count) that you have it all together, that you know how to make people feel at home and that the home they are entering is one of relaxed elegance. It is also a part of the house you will frequent often; be sure you’re welcoming yourself home in style, too.
Kitchens, Laundries and Bathrooms…
These rooms provide a very low ‘cost per view’ on your art. As you are in these rooms multiple times every day, you will see your art more often making the pieces better investments over time. Bold pieces that make you smile are the way to go here, providing you with something to gaze at over your hot cuppa in the morning, to remind you that everything will be alright. Larger pieces bring these spaces to life and frame counters and tables neatly, giving clear dimensions to the space and making the room appear larger.
Home Office
The home office is a room often in need of cheering up. Choose pieces that inspire you and don’t hesitate to simply lean a smaller frame against the wall from your desk or a shelf rather than putting a hole in the wall to hang it. Leaning a piece will make your space flexible for when you are ready to move things around for a new look and fresh inspiration.
Bedrooms
Your retreat. A room you spend a third of your life in and where, as you enter, the world melts away and warm, cozy, tranquil and serene vibe is essential. Bedrooms are so easy to get right with these combinations.
Lounge and Living Room
The focus in this room is often the television and whilst some people hang art above the TV (and we are all for it) we recommend hanging art behind the lounge instead so that the two don’t compete. With televisions getting bigger and bigger, it is important to balance the room with art on the wall opposite.
