Relaxed elegance meets French Impressionist.
Granddaughter of renowned French potters Adele and Bernard Deborde and celebrated artist, Lesleigh Fritz, daughter of famous French/Moroccan modern artist, Marc Deborde, Claire studied music and teaching before conceiving her own painting style.
Using only the most sublime acrylics on canvas, she creates whimsical botanicals for modern women who have grown up but not old. Her works are inspired by her love of flowers; seamlessly marrying contemporary French and Australian techniques.
Now married to an Irishman and with a dual-citizen toddler monopolising much of her time, she creates pieces which evoke joy and bring a sense of serenity…a rare reprieve from the post-modern haste of twenty-first century life.
This is art for the modern maison.
This is the New French. The New Australian.
